About

If I had a nickel for every time someone told me I should look into voice-over, I wouldn't be rich - but I'd have a least a few coins jingling around in my pocket. Well, I finally "looked into" the world of VO, and I'm excited to welcome you to my little space on the internet.

My name is Brooks Bratten and I'm a male voice talent based in Nashville, Tennessee. Born in Atlanta, I grew up in Pittsburgh and developed passions for ice hockey, music and communication. I picked up a journalism degree at Robert Morris University where I hosted collegiate TV and radio shows, and I also served as a play-by-play announcer for numerous sporting events. After graduation, I relocated to the Music City to become the team beat reporter for the NHL's Nashville Predators for eight seasons. While with the Preds, I co-hosted the team's official podcast and narrated a number of pieces, including the team's virtual Christmas card in 2020.

Now, I'm rather enthused for the opportunity to lend my voice to your project. Whether it's commercial, corporate, e-learning or anything in between, I'd love the opportunity to show you what I can do behind the microphone.

Send me a note or give me a call - I'll be glad to show you those folks who wanted me to get behind the mic were right.
